Hi, I’m Kassy, a member of WordCamp Kansai 2016.<\/p>\n
I’m glad to post the serialized report at the official site of WordCamp Kansai 2016.<\/p>\n
My report’s theme is<\/p>\n
\uff3f\u4eba\u4eba\u4eba\u4eba\u4eba\u4eba\u4eba\u4eba\u4eba\u4eba\u4eba\u4eba\u4eba\uff3f<\/span> As you know, Wapuu is the official mascot of Japanese WordPress.org.<\/p>\n https:\/\/ja.wordpress.org\/about-wp-ja\/wapuu\/<\/a><\/p>\n All component\u2019s files (SVG, Vector, and some other file format) for Wapuu have been opened to the public by GPL. Thus, there are various Wapuu created by WordPress local communities or in the world.<\/p>\n Wapuu’s archive Wapuu of WordCamp Kansai 2015<\/p>\n I was interested in the creation of 3D Wapuu because it’s possible to become the first creator! Thus, as a result of my check, I found out the 3D Wapuu’s data on GitHub.<\/p>\n Wapuu 3D Great! I also would like to challenge it, too.<\/p>\n I began to create it using 3DCG software in drunken momentum after party of WordBench Osaka (WordPress local community) on 16th January, .<\/p>\n This is not good quality, but I felt the operation might be easy.<\/p>\n Ummm.. I thought it is difficult to create around mouth, but the quality is ok!<\/p>\n Oh! I could to create the prototype for 3D Wapuu model. Next day, I introduced it to the organizer (YAT) of WordCamp Kansai 2016 at the design team\u2019s meeting.<\/p>\n Me\uff08\u3000\uff65\u03c9\uff65\uff09<YAT-san, I tried to create 3D Wapuu.<\/p>\n YAT-san\uff08 \u3000\uff65\u2200\uff65\uff09<Oh!<\/p>\n YAT-san\uff08 \u3000\uff65\u2200\uff65\uff09<Could you print it to a 3D printer?<\/p>\n Me\uff08\uff1b\uff9f\u0414\uff9f\uff09<What!? I have never used a 3D printer!<\/p>\n YAT-san\uff08\u3000\uff65\u03c9\uff65\uff09<It’s no problem. Why don’t you try it?<\/p>\n Me\uff08\uff1b\uff65\u03c9\uff65\uff09< It’s O.K. I know my friend who have a 3D printer, so I’ll try to talk to him.<\/p>\n YAT-san\uff08\u3000\uff9f\u0414\uff9f\uff09 < Sounds good!<\/p>\n Thus, my challenge for printing out a 3D Wapuu by a 3D printer kicked off.
